<\/p>\nThe winning projects of the ESEG Management Award were announced this Thursday, November 7th, at a ceremony at the headquarters of the Centro Paula Souza in S\u00e3o Paulo. The projects were awarded in four categories: Industrial Controls and Processes, Management, Health, and Information Technology and Infrastructure. Students from Centro Paula Souza who will complete their High School, Integrated Technical High School, Modular, Distance Technical, and Higher Education programs in 2019 participated in the competition.<\/p>\n
This year, the initiative celebrates 10 years of promoting research and technological development. To mark this commemorative edition, the event has adopted a central theme: Artificial Intelligence.<\/p>\n

The winner in the Industrial Controls and Processes category was the project \u201cAutonomous Reforestation using drones\u201d, developed by students Isabela Zarda, Luiz Henrique Telles, and Maria Vit\u00f3ria Paulique. Under the guidance of Professor Fernando Landim from ETEC Fernand\u00f3polis, the students built a drone capable of assisting in the recovery of areas deforested by industrial construction, through the dissemination of seeds.<\/p>\n
In the Management category, the winners were Felipe Nascimento, Igor Prado, and Raul da Silva, from ETEC Professor Massuyuki Kawano. Guided by Professor Edson Tessaro J\u00fanior, the students presented the project "Briquette with Peanut Shell Waste." Motivated by finding an alternative to the burning process using charcoal or firewood in industries and businesses, the students created a compound using peanut shells, capable of replacing some products used in heat generation processes.<\/p>\n
\u201cBlindaccess: Urban Mobility System for the Visually Impaired\u201d was the winning project in the Information Technology and Infrastructure category. The work was produced by students Jos\u00e9 Vin\u00edcius Pecorari, Nayara Ribeiro, and Victor Barreto, under the guidance of teacher Graciete dos Santos, from ETEC Adolpho Berezin, in Mongagu\u00e1.<\/p>\n
Also aiming to act as a facilitator for people with disabilities, the project "Device to Assist Hearing Impaired People in Detecting Babies' Cries" was the winner in the Health category. The work was developed by Jonathan Melo and Vict\u00f3ria da Cruz and supervised by Professor Marcelus Guirardello, from ETEC Bento Quirino, in Campinas.<\/p>\n
The initiative by ESEG, in partnership with Centro Paula Souza, aims to give students the opportunity to present projects with creative solutions for improving processes or products, using a wide variety of tools, considering the theme that should involve Engineering and Management.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
