Some points discussed included the convergence of design and business, the evolution of design from its aesthetic function to strategic design, and Kansei engineering as a methodology that translates user emotions into project specifications. In addition, a case study developed for the toy industry was presented.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/eseg.edu.br\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/05\/legacy-inline-682f74efcc3e1867-2.png\" style=\"width: 300.537px;float: left;height: 225.391px\" data-filename=\"palestra_ciencias_kansei.png\" class=\"note-float-left\">The Postgraduate Coordinator, Professor Dr. Silvia Boarin, commented that the topics covered in the lecture were of great relevance to the students. \u201cThe main positive aspects of design in industry, such as the benefits for physical products and brand enhancement, are extremely important and current in the corporate world. Through design, students can learn about and suggest creative and innovative solutions for products and services, as well as meet customer needs,\u201d said Silvia.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Postgraduate student Ta\u00eds Dantas do Nascimento highlighted the importance of Design in industry, applied to engineering products, and understanding its correlation with Product Management in creating added value. \u201cIt\u2019s fundamental to differentiate the attributes of a product or service through design, improve company processes, understand the user experience, and foster innovation.
